Terms and Conditions for Markingle Busselton Holiday House Rental

1. Booking and Payment

  • To secure your reservation, a $500 security deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit will be held against any potential damages or additional charges incurred during your stay. The deposit will be refunded within 7 days after your departure, provided there are no damages to the property and all terms of this agreement have been met.
  • The full cost of the booking must be paid at least 14 days before the check-in date. If payment has not been received by this date your reservation may be cancelled.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made up to 14 days before the scheduled check-in date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before the scheduled check-in date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations less than 7 days prior to check-in will not be eligible for a refund. In all cases of cancellation the Security Deposit will be refunded in full.

3. Check-In and Check-Out

  • Check-in time is 4pm on the day of arrival, and check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. Late check-out may be available upon request and is subject to availability.

4. Occupancy Limits

  • The maximum number of guests allowed in the property is seven (7). The number of guests must be declared at time of booking. (These are both City of Busselton requirements)

5. Use of Property

  • The property is to be used solely for residential purposes. No parties, events, or gatherings are allowed without prior written consent from the owner.

6. Maintenance and Repairs

  • Guests are expected to report any maintenance issues or damages to the property immediately. Guests are responsible for any damages caused during their stay.

7. Liability

  • The owner shall not be liable for any injuries or damages incurred during your stay. Guests are responsible for their own safety and the safety of their belongings.

8. Governing Law

  • This agreement shall be governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved in accordance with these laws. We are registered with the WA Govt STRA program. Our Short Term Registration number is STRA6280B9MENECL.

9. Acceptance of Terms

  • By completing the booking process, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
